Electrical Receptacle Testing and Repair
DMA is now offering electrical receptacle testing and repair services. This service is being offered as a companion to our Biomedical Electrical Safety checks. Call for a quote.
It is important to check your electrical outlets yearly to ensure patient safety. Power cord safety grounding only works if the electrical receptacle is wired properly and not worn out. We test for polarity, GFI operation, and ground pin retention force. In heavy use areas such as exam and operating rooms where equipment is in constant motion the receptacles do wear out.
CONTRACTS AVAILABLE
· TIME AND MATERIAL (TM) This contract covers labor hours, travel,
and travel mileage at a fixed hourly rate. Any parts and service
calls are additional. Labor is based on $98 per hour plus travel time
and mileage.
· BASIC (BAS) This contract covers receptacle testing at a fixed price.
It covers labor, travel, and travel mileage, with respect to the
complete inspection. Any parts are additional. Labor is $975 per 8 hour
day, with no charge for travel.
· STANDARD (STD) Are you in need of having both testing, part installation,
and travel in one contract? Labor is based per 8 hour day, cost of repair
parts will be included in final charge.
DMA provides your facility a report that describes the location, outlet number, and test results for each outlet in your facility. Once this report is complete we can prepare a second report showing the repairs have been completed.
